"Furusato Collection — Return-Gift Log" is a simple, easy-to-read app that records and manages, from your phone alone, the donations you make through furusato-nozei (Japan's hometown tax donation) and the return gifts you receive (iOS / Android). Never again forget "where you donated" or "when a gift arrives." Registered data is saved only on your device and is never sent to any external server.
Record municipality, donation amount, return gift and donation date together / a reminder notification as a gift's shipping date nears / group donations by year and compare across years / show the municipalities you donated to, color-coded on a map of Japan / check a rough estimate of your donation limit from your income and so on / record photos of return gifts / back up and import including photos / large text and a roomy layout for easy reading.
Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your device only. No account is required, and we cannot view or obtain your data. There is no cloud sync. Uninstalling deletes all data, including photos.
How do I prepare for a new device?
Export a file including photos with the backup feature, save it wherever you like (Google Drive, iCloud Drive, etc.), and import it on the new device. Please keep backups at your own responsibility.
Is the donation-limit estimate accurate?
The limit shown is a rough, reference figure based on the information you enter. Your actual deduction limit varies with your family situation, various deductions, other income, and so on. For exact figures, check with your municipality, the tax office, or a professional such as a tax accountant. This App does not provide donation or tax advice; it is a tool to assist recording and management.
